The body piercing is an ancient practice that consists, through cutting tools in the introduction of decorative objects of different shapes and invoices through the skin.

This practice has a great evolution over the years, t has lost its negative label and its outsider side and has become increasingly appreciated and shown off by people of both sexes and of all ages. Piercing often scares less than a tattoo because it is an ornament applied to the body but can be removed at any time.

The piercings made at Vertigo are all performed using hypoallergenic and highly biocompatible materials certified by the manufacturers (as European directives). In this study we realize the sanitation, disinfection and sterilization procedures to insure maximum safety for customers and operators.

FACIAL PIERCINGS

CLASSIC EYEBROW

Piercing placed vertically through the eyebrow with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from biocompatible material (usually a sterilized titanium bar).

HORIZONTAL EYEBROW

An alternative to the classic eyebrow piercing. Instead of placing it vertically through the eyebrow, this is a bar situated horizontally just above or below the brow under the skin with the two ends showing on either side. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

NOSTRIL

Piercing placed through the nostril with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

SEPTUM

Piercing that goes through the septum at the center base of the nose using a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

BRIDGE

Piercing placed through the bridge of the nose in between the eyes, filling in the “dimple” found at the top of the nose that separates the eyes. Performed with a sterile, single-use needle followed by jewelry made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

MONROE

Piercing on the side of the upper lip. Piercing performed with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

MEDUSA

Piercing at the center of the upper lip. Piercing performed with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

VERTICAL LABRET

Piercing passing vertically through the lip. Piercing performed with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium. .

SMILEY PIERCING

Piercing placed through the frenulum of the upper lip with a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

TONGUE PIERCING

Piercing placed through the tongue using a sterile, single-use needle and jewelry made from sterilized biocompatible titanium sized according to the thickness of the tongue.

EAR PIERCINGS

HELIX

Piercing placed through the cartilage of the upper ear using a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

ANTI HELIX / FORWARD HELIX

Piercing placed through the cartilage of the ear found in the small fold at the front just above the tragus where the ear connects to the face. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

TRAGUS PIERCING

Piercing placed through the tragus, which is the piece of cartilage found immediately in front of the ear canal, using a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

ROOK PIERCING

Piercing placed through the fold of cartilage found between the helix and the tragus using a sterile, single-use needle. It may require a single or a double perforation depending on the shape of the ear. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

DAITH PIERCING

Piercing placed through the fold of cartilage that ends in the tragus using a sterile, single-use needle. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

CONCH PIERCING

Piercing placed in the scoop-shaped area of the ear between the helix and the lobe, running along the outer edge of the ear. Performed using a sterile, single-use needle followed by jewelry made from sterilized biocompatible titanium.

INDUSTRIAL

A pair of piercings carried out with a sterile, single-use needle passing diagonally through the upper cartilage of the ear. A straight barbell made of sterilized biocompatible titanium is inserted through these two perforations.

FLAT PIERCING

Piercing made on the flat area of the auricle under the Helix with a sterile and disposable needle. This piercing is made by inserting a previously sterilized titanium jewel.

NAVEL PIERCING

Piercing done using a sterile, single-use needle throught the superior part of the navel (or the inferior, if u prefer that kind of piercing. The jewelry used is made from sterilized biocompatible titanium with a coloured gem ot one ned.

NIPPLE PIERCING

Piercing made by punching the nipple with a sterile and disposable needle (passing from side to side horizontally or vertically). This piercing is made by inserting a previously sterilized titanium jewel.

SURFACE PIERCING

Piercings characterized by a particular structure, with a bar that is placed under the skin, and the two ends that emerge on the surface. It is made with a sterilized and disposable needle and then a jewel made of biocompatible material is placed in the holes (titanium). This type of piercing depending on the part of the body in which it is positioned takes on different names: nape piercing (piercing placed horizontally on the nape of the neck), antitragus (piercing positioned vertically in opposition to the tragus, then on the face skin near the tragus), horizontal eyebrows (alternative to eyebrow piercing, instead of piercing the eyebrow from side to side in a vertical manner, this jewel is positioned horizontally above the eyebrow)

MICRODERMAL

The microdermal is a piercing that can also be positioned in off-limits points for classic piercings, in fact it needs only an entrance hole. The microdermal piercing is made up of a subcutaneous plate and an external element, placed on the skin, which is a jewel held anchored precisely by the implanted under-skin element, in the execution of this piercing the skin is pierced, in the realized hole is inserted the titanium jewel, a material that is not magnetic and does not heat up and therefore should not be removed quickly in the case of special medical procedures.
